The Shinn Cutter mulches trees into pieces not much larger than a cigarette lighter, spread evenly over the forest floor.

Tress and stumps of all sizes can be processed, with the Shinn Cutter able to operate in most conditions, including steep terrain.

The Shinn Cutter replaces bulldozers, excavators with sheers, wheeled loaders and tubegrinders with a single machine

Mulch created by the process can be left in place or worked into the soil. After rehabilitation of earth works, the mulch will degrade back into the soil naturally, releasing nutrients to establish grass cover.

Mulching of the tree cover also avoids the risk of fuel for forest fires.
